About Paula DeAnda
Paula DeAnda is a pop singer with R&B tendencies from Texas. Her music career began when
she released her self-titled album and the hit single "Doing Too Much" in 2006. The
release came shortly after she auditioned for Clive Davis and was signed to Arista
Records; no second record has been spoken of yet since the singer is primarily focused
on the release of several singles from the debut which have been quite successful. So
far, five singles have been released from Paula DeAnda, and all but the very first have
charted on the US Billboard. "What Would It Take" failed to hold a position, but the
second song "Doing Too Much" which featured Baby Bash charted at no. 41. The follow
up single was "Walk Away (Remember Me)" which has done the best so far at no. 18;
2007's "When It Was Me" plummeted to no. 113 and "Easy" featuring Bow Wow and
Lil Wayne went to no. 64. She remains more highly rated on the US pop charts, with a
peak at no. 10.
